It is sixth largest mobile handset company in India and its manufacturing facility is based in Telangana State. The company manufactures dual-sim smartphones, feature phones, and tablet PC in both Android and Microsoft OS. LAVA: This is again one of the fast growing domestic mobile brands in India. XOLO X 900 was the first Android smartphone powered by the Intel Atom processor. As the domestic manufacturer, the company provides employment to unemployed youth from different states. For the same reason, the Uttar Pradesh government honored it. Silicon Valley has awarded Lava as the most trusted smartphone brand in product quality and after-sales services. CREATONS: This is another leading consumer electronics manufacturer based in Delhi NCR.  iBall- iBall is another consumer electronics company headquartered in Mumbai with a tagline-your eyeball view. The company started its operations in September 2001. It develops smartphones and tablets and computer peripherals. In 2014, the company launched the Andi Udaan smartphone for women. This was dedicated to women because it has an SOS button at the back of the phone, which sounds like a siren and send text messages automatically to five selected contacts on pressing. Later in 2015, the company, in collaboration with Intel and Microsoft, launched iBall Slide i701.

Currently, the mobile industry contribution to India’s GDP is 6.5% which is expected to reach 8.2% by 2020. It has generated around 38,300 new jobs recently. Already, a lot of international brands had set their manufacturing units in India.
